Volleyball Game Preview: Old Fort Stockaders vs. St. Paul Flyers

The Old Fort Stockaders will take on the St. Paul Flyers at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The two teams are strolling into their matchups after big wins in their previous games.

Old Fort won the last time they faced Northwood and Lucy King did her part to make sure it happened again. The Stockaders were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Rangers on Tuesday thanks in part to King, who had 35 assists and ten digs. King is crushing it when it comes to assists: she's posted at least 16 every time she's taken the court this season.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Old Fort took every set by at least ten points. The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-15, 25-5.

Meanwhile, St. Paul made easy work of Crestview on Tuesday and carried off a 3-0 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Flyers.

St. Paul's victory bumped their record up to 13-6. As for Old Fort, their win bumped their record up to 15-4.

Old Fort couldn't quite get it done against St. Paul when the teams last played back in October of 2015 as they fell 3-1. Can the Stockaders avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
