Volleyball Recap: Central Catholic Comes Up Short

Central Catholic was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 29th straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Patterson Tigers, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Tigers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in March.

The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-15, 25-19.

Central Catholic's loss dropped their record down to 0-17. As for Patterson, they moved to 5-6 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Looking ahead, Central Catholic will venture away from home to face off against Modesto at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Patterson, they will host East Union at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
