Volleyball Recap: Belmont Takes a Loss

Belmont had lost four straight on the road, but on Friday they dropped their record down to 4-7 to make it five. They lost 3-0 to the Arlington Spy Ponders. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Spy Ponders this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 back in April.

As for Arlington, they have been performing well recently as they've won 11 of their last 14 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-6 record this season. The victory made it back-to-back wins for they.

Arlington found their leader in freshman Pablo Diaz-Terra, who had five digs and three aces.

Belmont has already played their next game, a 3-0 defeat against Winchester on the 19th. As for Arlington, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Wakefield Memorial on the 19th.
