Basketball Recap: Corpus Christi Moody Comes Up Short

Corpus Christi Moody was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 28th straight loss. They were beaten by the Gregory-Portland Wildcats 74-35. While losing is never fun, the Trojans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 1400th, while the Wildcats are ranked 206th).

Corpus Christi Moody's defeat dropped their record down to 2-29. As for Gregory-Portland, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 31-6.

As of now, neither Corpus Christi Moody nor Gregory-Portland have any future games scheduled.
