            Flag Football Recap: Richwoods Knights vs. Peoria Lions        
        
		
        
        
            
Richwoods won the last time they faced Peoria and  Acosia Morris did her part to make sure it happened again. The Knights blew past the Lions 32-12 on Friday with plenty of help from  Morris, who rushed for 301 yards and three  scores on only eight carries. Her longest rush was for an incredible 86 yards.
The team also got some help courtesy of  Brianna Johnson, who gained 166 total yards and two touchdowns. She also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, picking up  a  sack and making six total tackles (4.0 for loss).
 One reason for the win was Richwoods' imposing  defense, which managed to get into the backfield for five sacks. That dominant display was truly a team effort as five different players picked up one apiece.
Richwoods has  been performing  well recently as they've  won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-2 record  this season. As for Peoria,  they are  on  a  five-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 3-5.
 Richwoods does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Peoria, they will take on Danville at 4:30  p.m.  on Monday.
