Soccer Recap: EF Academy Takes a Loss

EF Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They came up short against the Polytechnic Panthers, falling 5-0. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against EF Academy this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 11-0 back in December of 2024.

EF Academy's loss dropped their record down to 1-7-1. As for Polytechnic, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 6-3-1 record this season.

EF Academy has already played their next game, a 4-2 defeat against Flintridge Prep on the 27th. As for Polytechnic, they will take on Rio Hondo Prep on Friday. Rio Hondo Prep is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 4.6 goals per game this season.
