The Penns Grove Red Devils pushed their score all the way to 56 on Monday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell just short of Clearview by a score of 58-56. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss Penns Grove has suffered yet this season.

Despite the loss, Penns Grove still got an impressive performance from Mekhi Ballard, who went 6 for 9 from beyond the arc en route to 22 points and 2 assists. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Ballard has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Giomar Conrad, who scored ten points along with nine rebounds.

Penns Grove has been struggling recently, as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-8 record this season. As for Clearview, they now have a winning record of 7-6.
