Basketball Recap: Atlantic City Takes Loss Despite Strong Efforts from Eileen Roach and Taison Parker

Atlantic City lost against Wildwood Catholic back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Atlantic City Vikings took a 55-41 bruising from the Wildwood Catholic Crusaders. While losing is never fun, the Vikings can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New Jersey basketball rankings (they are ranked 150th, while the Crusaders are ranked 17th).

Despite the defeat, Atlantic City had strong showings from Taison Parker, who went 6-for-13 en route to 14 points and seven boards, and Eileen Roach, who went 6-for-11 to rack up 13 points. That's the most points Roach has posted since back in January.

Atlantic City's loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 8-17. As for Wildwood Catholic, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 21-4 record this season.

As of now, neither Atlantic City nor Wildwood Catholic have any future games scheduled.
