Softball Recap: Canal Winchester Comes Up Short

Canal Winchester lost against Lancaster back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Indians lost 23-4 to the Golden Gales. The Indians' loss continues a trend for the squad, making it four in a row.

Canal Winchester saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kendal Mccrea, who went 2-for-3 with one home run and three RBI.

Canal Winchester now has a losing record of 8-9. As for Lancaster, the win was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 15-2.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Canal Winchester will challenge rival Groveport-Madison at 5:15 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Lancaster is set to face off against their familiar foe Newark at 5:15 p.m. on Thursday.
