Basketball Game Preview: Franklin-Simpson Wildcats vs. South Warren Spartans

The Franklin-Simpson Wildcats will square off against the South Warren Spartans at 4:30 p.m. on Sunday. Franklin-Simpson will be looking to extend their current 11-game winning streak.

Last Thursday, Franklin-Simpson got the win against Todd County Central by a conclusive 64-39. The Wildcats have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 17 matches by 21 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, South Warren unfortunately witnessed the end of their eight-game winning streak on Thursday. They took a 43-30 hit to the loss column at the hands of Bowling Green.

Franklin-Simpson's win was their 19th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 25-2. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 29.4 points on average over those games. As for South Warren, their loss dropped their record down to 14-13.

Franklin-Simpson strolled past South Warren when the teams last played back in January by a score of 54-38. Will Franklin-Simpson repeat their success, or does South Warren have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
