Thales Academy Rolesville's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Colby Currie, who scored 18 points. Currie also grabbed two steals for the first time this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Malachi Fischer , who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 11 rebounds.
Even though they lost, Thales Academy Rolesville were smashing the offensive glass and finished the game with 19 offensive rebounds. That's the most offensive rebounds they've managed all season.
Carolina Friends' victory bumped their record up to 2-5. As for Thales Academy Rolesville, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-8 record this season.
