Plainview waltzed into their game on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They rang in the new year with a 65-52 win over the Caprock Longhorns. This was payback for the Bulldogs, who suffered a 59-54 loss the last time these two teams met.

Plainview's victory bumped their record up to 10-12. As for Caprock, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-13.

Coincidentally, Plainview and Caprock will both be playing Lubbock the next time they take the court. The Bulldogs will host the Westerners at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, while the Longhorns will host them at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
