Soccer Recap: Doherty Comes Up Short

Doherty lost against Lewis-Palmer back in March of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Spartans came up short against the Rangers, falling 6-0. Doherty's loss continues a trend for the team, making it four in a row.

Doherty's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Lewis-Palmer, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-0-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Doherty will welcome Arvada West at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Doherty's defense better be ready for this one: Arvada West have averaged an impressive 4.5 goals per game this season. As for Lewis-Palmer, they will host Rampart at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
