Volleyball Recap: Tri-Valley Takes a Loss

If Tri-Valley was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Baltic on Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Mustangs came up short against the Sioux Falls Christian Chargers on Thursday, falling 3-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Mustangs of the 2-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

Tri-Valley now has a losing record of 8-9. As for Sioux Falls Christian, their win bumped their record up to 18-8.

Coming up, Tri-Valley will challenge Elk Point-Jefferson at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Sioux Falls Christian, they will venture away from home to challenge Harrisburg at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Tigers will roll in looking for their 12th straight victory, something the Chargers surely won't give up without a fight.
