Baseball Recap: Kingfisher Comes Up Short

Saturday just wasn't the day for Kingfisher's offense. They came up short against the Enid Plainsmen on Saturday, falling 7-0. The Yellowjackets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Kingfisher's loss dropped their record down to 2-13. As for Enid, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Kingfisher will take on Weatherford at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Eagles will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something the Yellowjackets surely won't give up without a fight. As for Enid, they will look to defend their home field on Monday against Grant at 5:30 p.m. The Plainsmen are facing the Generals at the right time seeing as the Generals are stuck on a ten-game losing streak.
