Basketball Recap: Rome Free Academy's Victory on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Rome Free Academy entered their tilt with Central Valley Academy on Tuesday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They walked away with a 54-44 victory over the Central Valley Academy Thunder. This was payback for the Black Knights, who suffered a 51-42 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Rome Free Academy's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Amiyah Ferebee, who dropped a double-double with ten points and 16 boards. The dominant performance gave Ferebee a new career-high in rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Taniyah Outten, who dropped a double-double with 11 points and 12 boards.

Rome Free Academy smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 25 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in 16 consecutive contests.
