Baseball Recap: Chaminade's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

Chaminade can bid farewell to their eight-game losing streak thanks to their game on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Sierra Canyon Trailblazers by a score of 3-2 (the very same score they lost by in their prior game). For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Eagles have posted since February 26th.

Chaminade got a great performance from Jackson Schroeder as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits over 4.2 innings pitched.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Ryder Gullage, who scored a run while going 2-for-2. Those two hits gave him a new career-high. Kaiden Dizon-Sanchez was another key player, going 1-for-3 with one home run.

Chaminade's victory bumped their record up to 6-11. As for Sierra Canyon, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-9 record this season.
