Football Game Preview: Zionsville Eagles vs. Fishers Tigers

The Zionsville Eagles will head out to challenge the Fishers Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Neither of those teams managed to put together many points in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.

Zionsville is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Indiana's top teams: Avon, who was ranked eighth at the time (Zionsville was ranked 19th). The Eagles took a 14-7 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Orioles on Friday. The Eagles haven't had much luck with the Orioles recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Meanwhile, Fishers came up short against Westfield on Friday and fell 14-7. The contest marked the Tigers' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Fishers' defeat dropped their record down to 5-3. As for Zionsville, their loss dropped their record down to 3-5.

Zionsville suffered a grim 30-6 defeat to Fishers in their previous meeting back in October of 2024. Can the Eagles avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
