The Westminster Wolves will challenge the Boulder Panthers at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The timing is sure in Westminster's favor as the squad sits on three straight wins at home while Boulder has been banged up by five consecutive losses on the road dating back to last season.
Westminster's defense heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They claimed a resounding 56-0 victory over Lakewood. The Wolves might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six contests by 21 points or more this season.

Westminster found their leader in sophomore Kevan Bunton, who rushed for 105 yards and three scores on only 11 carries. The Wolves are undefeated when Bunton posts 80 or more rushing yards, but 1-2 otherwise. Santana Soriano was another key player, throwing for 166 yards and a pair of touchdowns while completing 75% of his passes.
Westminster's run defense was locked in: Lakewood could only muster 0.7 yards per carry. The team can thank Alan Quinteros for the heroic effort on defense: he. Westminster didn't have any issues in that department, having averaged 8.8.
Westminster didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Billy Stoddard and Michael Stoddard. Michael is also on a roll when it comes to total tackles, as he's now made five or more in each of the last four games he's played. He got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.
Meanwhile, Boulder posted their closest win since October 17, 2024 on Friday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 17-14 victory over Overland.
Westminster's win bumped their record up to 7-2. As for Boulder, their victory bumped their record up to 2-7.
Thursday's game might be decided in the trenches. Westminster has been excellent on the ground this season, having averaged 154.4 rushing yards per game. It's a different story for Boulder, though, as they've been averaging only 55.2 rushing yards. How will they fare against such a dominant running game?
