Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Tehachapi). They blew past the West Vikings 103-36 on Wednesday. Given the Warriors' advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 586th, while the Vikings are ranked 1350th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Tehachapi is also on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 69.8 points per game. As for West, their defeat was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-17.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Tehachapi will host Golden Valley at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Tehachapi is facing Golden Valley at the right time seeing as Golden Valley is stuck on a 14-game losing streak. As for West, it'll be Eastside v. Westside when they and East Bakersfield meet at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
