Sonoma Valley has gone a perfect 7-0 against Archie Williams recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Sonoma Valley Dragons will be playing at home against the Archie Williams Peregrine Falcons at 4:30 p.m. Sonoma Valley is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.7 runs per game this season.

Sonoma Valley had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the ten-run drubbing they dealt Healdsburg on Monday. Sonoma Valley put the hurt on Healdsburg with a sharp 16-6 win. The Dragons haven't had any issues with the Greyhounds recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive victory against them.

Katherine Kiser was incredible, going 3-for-5 with one home run, four runs, and four RBI. That's the most hits she has posted since back in April of 2024. Another player making a difference was Eliana Landry, who went 2-for-4 with four RBI, two runs, and one stolen base.

Sonoma Valley always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .605. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Meanwhile, Archie Williams' undefeated season came to an end after four games on Tuesday. They fell just short of Alhambra by a score of 8-7. The loss was the Peregrine Falcons' first of the season.

Archie Williams saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Sam Singer, who went 1-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. That home run marked the first that Singer launched this season. Kennedy Dunsing was another, scoring a run and stealing Two bases. while going 2-for-3.

Having lost for the first time this season, Archie Williams fell to 4-1. As for Sonoma Valley, their win bumped their record up to 2-4.

Sonoma Valley came out on top in a nail-biter against Archie Williams when the teams last played back in April of 2023, sneaking past 2-1. Will Sonoma Valley repeat their success, or does Archie Williams have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
