Basketball Recap: Clifton's Luck Changes for the Better on Tuesday

Clifton won the last time they faced Troy and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Cubs secured a 53-47 W over the Trojans. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Cubs as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Clifton can attribute much of their success to Eduardo Garcia, who posted 22 points. Those 22 points gave Garcia a new career-high. Alijah Calderon was another key player, putting up 13 points.

Clifton's win bumped their record up to 12-16. As for Troy, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost eight of their last nine matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-18 record this season.
