Volleyball Recap: Alvord Takes a Loss

Fans were treated to a battle of the Bulldogs on Saturday. Alvord fell just short of Tioga by a score of 2-1. Alvord was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Tioga apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

Bella Dennis was a one-woman wrecking crew For Tioga. as she had 20 digs. Those 20 digs gave Dennis a new career-high. Brennan Guenther also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

Alvord's defeat dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Tioga, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-2.

Alvord wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 3-0 win against Saint Jo on the 19th. As for Tioga, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Van Alstyne on the 16th.
