Volleyball Game Preview: Clare Pioneers vs. Gladwin Flying G's

The Clare Pioneers are taking a road trip to challenge the Gladwin Flying G at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Clare will be strutting in after a win while Gladwin will be coming in after a loss.

On Wednesday, Clare was able to grind out a solid victory over Bullock Creek, taking the game 3-1. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Pioneers.

In the three sets Clare was on fire: they won each by at least ten points. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-15, 24-26, 25-9.

Meanwhile, Gladwin came up short against Ludington on Saturday and fell 2-0. The Flying G's have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Gladwin's defeat dropped their record down to 5-13-1. As for Clare, their win bumped their record up to 7-16.

Clare came out on top in a nail-biter against Gladwin when the teams last played two weeks ago, sneaking past 2-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Pioneers since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
