Baseball Game Preview: Eaglecrest Raptors vs. Mullen Mustangs

For the second straight game, Eaglecrest will face off against Mullen. The Raptors will welcome the Mustangs at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.

On Thursday, Eaglecrest was able to grind out a solid victory over Mullen, taking the game 4-1.

Brian Moreland spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned run on five hits and racked up ten Ks. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Dylan Lambert, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, two doubles, and one stolen base. Those two doubles gave him a new career-high.

Mullen is on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-13. As for Eaglecrest, their win bumped their record up to 8-12.
