Basketball Game Preview: Lincoln County Lynx vs. Adelson

Lincoln County is 10-0 against Adelson since December of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Lincoln County Lynx will host Adelson at 6:30 p.m. Lincoln County knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past seven matches -- so hopefully Adelson likes a good challenge.

Lincoln County will bounce into Tuesday's game after beating Lake Mead Christian Academy, who they had gone 2-7 against in their nine prior meetings. Lincoln County put the hurt on Lake Mead Christian Academy with a sharp 68-44 victory on Saturday. The Lynx have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine contests by 20 points or more this season.

Kalen Bart was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 23 points and 11 boards. What's more, he also racked up two blocks, the most he's had since back in December of 2024. Rowdy Lloyd was another key player, putting up 17 points and five rebounds.

Meanwhile, Adelson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 34th straight defeat dating back to last season. They were beaten by White Pine 64-25.

Lincoln County has been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 12 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 16-8 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.3 points per game. As for Adelson, their loss dropped their record down to 0-17.

Everything came up roses for Lincoln County against Adelson in their previous matchup back in January, as the team secured a 70-19 win. In that game, Lincoln County amassed a halftime lead of 44-12, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Tuesday.
