Game recap: Chandler High School Football Team takes down Highland

GILBERT, Ariz. - After two lead changes, Chandler (Ariz.) took the lead for good when Terrell Flanigan ran for a touchdown with 2:00 left in the third quarter and held on to upset Highland (Gilbert, Ariz.) 21-14 on Saturday.

The two teams were tied at 14 heading into halftime. The Wolves took the lead indefinitely on a touchdown run by Flanigan in the third quarter.

With the win Chandler extended its winning streak to six games. Chandler defeated Basha 49-7 last week.

CHS came in allowing an average of 20.4 points per game this season. The Wolves held firm on the defensive front, and kept the Hawks below the 20.6 points it had been averaging per game.
