Mariner put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 1-0 victory over the Fort Myers Green Wave. Given the Tritons' advantage in MaxPreps' Florida soccer rankings (they are ranked tenth, while the Green Wave are ranked 182nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Mariner's one-goal win came courtesy of Thomas Castano-Rayo, who's now up to 14 this season.

Mariner pushed their record up to 14-0 with the win, which was their sixth straight on the road. As for Fort Myers, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-5-1.
