Loomis Chaffee School never let their opponents score on Wednesday. They had just enough and edged out the Kingswood Oxford Wyverns 1-0. Those one runs were actually the fewest the Pelicans have put up all season, but given the result they're probably not too concerned.

The victory made it two in a row for Loomis Chaffee School and bumps their season record up to 8-8. They've had to fight for that success though, as they only beat their opponents by an average of 1.5 runs across that stretch. As for Kingswood Oxford, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Loomis Chaffee School will host Hotchkiss School at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Kingswood Oxford, they will be playing at home against Marianapolis Prep at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
