Volleyball Recap: Erie Wins Going Away Against Broomfield

Erie barely beat Broomfield the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Tigers were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Eagles on Tuesday. The win continues a trend for the Tigers in their matchups with the Eagles: they've now won three in a row.

While Erie won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. The final score came out to 27-25, 25-17, 25-21.

Olivia Harris was the offensive standout of the contest as she had 16 digs and two aces. She has been hot for a while, having posted ten or more digs the last ten times she's played.

Harris wasn't the only good servers: Erie was lethal from the service line and finished the match with ten aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces every time they've taken the court this season.
