Softball Recap: Gilbert Gets the Win

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Gray Collegiate Academy, Gilbert was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They walked away with a 6-3 victory over the Irmo Yellow Jackets.

Gilbert's win bumped their record up to 20-4. As for Irmo, they dropped their record down to 2-13 with the loss, which was their sixth straight at home.

Gilbert will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Yellow Jackets: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday.
