Basketball Game Preview: Helix Highlanders vs. La Jolla Vikings + How To Watch

Having just played yesterday, the Helix Highlanders will get right back to it and host the La Jolla Vikings at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Helix is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering Torrey Pines just ended the team's four-game winning streak on Thursday. They lost 54-32 to the Falcons. The matchup marked the Highlanders' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Meanwhile, La Jolla came up short against Monte Vista on Tuesday and fell 65-52.

La Jolla's loss dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Helix, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-3.

Helix beat La Jolla 62-49 when the teams last played back in December of 2019. Will the Highlanders repeat their success, or do the Vikings have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
