Softball Recap: Wasatch Wasps vs. Timpview Thunderbirds

Wasatch won against Cedar Valley last Wednesday with ten runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Tuesday. The Wasatch Wasps' pitcher stepped up to hand the Timpview Thunderbirds a 10-0 shutout. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Wasatch also won the last time the pair played back in April.

Hallie McNaughtan made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run while striking out 13 over seven innings pitched. McNaughtan has been consistent recently: she hasn't pitched less than six innings in four consecutive pitching appearances. McNaughtan was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-3 with two RBI.
