Basketball Recap: Prior Lake Takes a Loss

After flying high against Eagan last Friday, Prior Lake came back down to earth. The Prior Lake Lakers fell to the Farmington Tigers 80-75. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Lakers came into the matchup with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Minnesota basketball rankings (they are ranked eighth, while the Tigers are ranked 57th).

Prior Lake's loss dropped their record down to 19-7. As for Farmington, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-13 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Prior Lake will welcome Eastview at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Farmington, they will challenge Burnsville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
