Homewood-Flossmoor's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They enjoyed a cozy 29-10 win over the Naperville Central Redhawks. This was payback for the Vikings, who suffered a 31-28 loss the last time these two teams met.

Homewood-Flossmoor's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Zyon Jones, who threw for 210 yards and one TD while completing 73.5% of his passes, and also punched in one score on the ground. Kourtney Smith helped Jones out on the ground, rushing for 86 yards and one touchdown, while also picking up 34 receiving yards.

Homewood-Flossmoor moved to 4-4 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak. As for Naperville Central, they dropped their record down to 2-6 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight at home.
