Volleyball Recap: Forge Christian Find Success

The Forge Christian Fury beat the Arrupe Jesuit Generals 3-1 on Wednesday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Fury.

Forge Christian had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 23-25, 25-16, 25-23, 25-18.

Among those leading the charge was Tsetsen Byambatseren, who had 17 digs. That's the most digs he has posted since back in March.

Forge Christian's victory bumped their record up to 5-12. As for Arrupe Jesuit, they dropped their record down to 2-13 with the defeat, which was their eighth straight at home.

Forge Christian didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-0 loss against Eagle Ridge Academy on the 17th. As for Arrupe Jesuit, they will challenge Fort Lupton at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Generals are facing the Bluedevils at the right time seeing as the Bluedevils are stuck on an 11-game losing streak.
