Soccer Recap: Franklin Takes a Loss

Franklin's game on Wednesday was all tied up 1-1 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They came up short against the Windsor Dukes, falling 4-1. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Windsor this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 4-1 back in March.

Franklin's goal came courtesy of Lavarius Majette, which was the first he's scored this season.

This is the second loss in a row for Franklin and nudges their season record down to 3-7. As for Windsor, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-5.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Franklin will face off against rival Appomattox Regional Governor's Arts & Tech at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Windsor is set to challenge their familiar foe Greensville County at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
