Illinois Valley Central's game on Monday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Wednesday. They never let the Galesburg Silver Streaks get on the board and left with a 10-0 victory. The result was nothing new for the Grey Ghosts, who have now won nine contests by seven runs or more so far this season.

Joharah Boze was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Madeline Bazyn, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with three RBI, one run, and one double.

Illinois Valley Central's win bumped their record up to 11-7. As for Galesburg, their loss was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-18.

Coming up, Illinois Valley Central will host Hall at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Galesburg, they will head out to take on East Moline United at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Silver Streaks' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Panthers have averaged an impressive 6.6 runs per game this season.
