Springfield faced Twin Valley in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Wednesday. The Cosmos fell 2-0 to the Wildcats. Springfield were not able to make up for their defeat to Twin Valley from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

Springfield's loss dropped their record down to 3-2-1. As for Twin Valley, the victory was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-1.
