Softball Recap: Marshall Comes Up Short

Marshall was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They lost 10-0 to the Worthington Trojans. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Trojans this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 12-8 on April 8th.

Marshall's loss dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Worthington, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Marshall will challenge Waseca at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Worthington, they will head out to face off against St. Peter at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The last five games the Saints have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
