Soccer Recap: Pilot Point Triumphs

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Springtown, Pilot Point was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They never let the Carter-Riverside Eagles onto the board and left with a 1-0 victory. The score was all tied up 0-0 at the break, but the Bearcats were the better team in the second half.

The win got Pilot Point back to even at 2-2. As for Carter-Riverside, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Pilot Point will face off against Springtown at 2:00 p.m. on Monday. Springtown's defense has only allowed 0.2 goals per game this season, so Pilot Point's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Carter-Riverside, they will challenge Richland at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
