Basketball Recap: Center Hill Skates Past Grenada with Ease

Center Hill lost to Grenada back in February, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Tuesday. The Center Hill Mustangs blew past the Grenada Chargers 65-37. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Mustangs.

Center Hill got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Madison S. Hughes out in front who went 7 for 14 on her way to 17 points in addition to eight rebounds and six steals. The contest was S. Hughes' fourth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Yazlyn Buffington, who went 7 for 16 on her way to 16 points and five rebounds.

Center Hill's win bumped their record up to 4-6. As for Grenada, they dropped their record down to 3-5 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road.

Center Hill will host South Panola at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in South Panola's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last four matches. As for Grenada, they will head out to take on Rosa Fort at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
