If Altha beats Malone with 12 runs on Tuesday, it's going to be the team's new lucky number: they've won their past two contests with that exact score. Everything went Altha's way against Bethlehem on Monday as Altha made off with a 12-2 win. Considering Altha has won seven games by more than six runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.
Aidan Grover made a splash while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, keeping things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out nine over four innings pitched. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in strikeouts. He was also big at the plate, scoring two runs while going 2-for-3.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Riley Rowe, who scored four runs and stole Five bases. while getting on base in all five of his plate appearances. Those four runs gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Griffin Pickron, who scored two runs while going 2-for-3.
Altha kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least nine hits in three consecutive matches.
Meanwhile, Malone narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past Vernon 10-9.
Hoke Harkrider was incredible, scoring four runs and stealing Six bases. while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last seven games he's played dating back to last season. Another player making a difference was Byron Dickens Jr., who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-4.
Altha pushed their record up to 7-1 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.8 runs on average over those games. As for Malone, they now have a winning record of 3-2.
Tuesday's contest might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Altha has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .579. However, it's not like Malone struggles in that department as they've averaged .466. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
