Basketball Recap: Cedar Grove Takes a Loss

Cedar Grove lost against Bloomfield back in February and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Cedar Grove Panthers might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting the Bloomfield Bengals an easy 42-16 win.

Cedar Grove's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Bloomfield, their victory ended a four-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-0.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Cedar Grove will venture away from home to face off against Millburn at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday. As for Bloomfield, they will head out to challenge Montclair Kimberley Academy at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
