Meanwhile, Mercy Career & Technical is still winless after their matchup against Barrack Hebrew Academy on Tuesday, but the team can take solace in the fact it was the closest they've come to winning. They were three points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 49-46 heartbreaker at the hands of the Cougars. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat Mercy Career & Technical has suffered since January 15th.

Mercy Career & Technical's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Life Center Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-3.

Everything came up roses for Life Center Academy against Mercy Career & Technical in their previous matchup back in February of 2024, as the team secured a 120-51 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Warriors since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
