Christ the King had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 29 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Monday. They breezed past the Corvian Community Cardinals to the tune of 48-16. The Crusaders have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 13 games by 21 points or more this season.

Christ the King got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Audrey Gorman out in front who posted ten points and seven rebounds. Another player making a difference was Rosie Gorman, who had nine points and three steals.

Christ the King's victory bumped their record up to 19-5. As for Corvian Community, they have been struggling recently as they've lost ten of their last 11 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-15 record this season.

Christ the King didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 54-45 win against Community School of Davidson on the 18th. Corvian Community does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
