Soccer Recap: Zapata Takes a Loss

Zapata lost to Valley View back in March of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Hawks took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Tigers. That's two games in a row now that Zapata have lost by exactly two goals.

Zapata has been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matches. That lines up perfectly with their 1-9-2 record this season. As for Valley View, they pushed their record up to 7-3-2 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road.

Zapata will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Vanguard Academy Rembrandt at 6:00 p.m. on February 17. As for Valley View, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Grulla at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
