Baseball Recap: Iroquois Takes a Loss

Iroquois fell victim to Burgin and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They lost 14-0 to the Bulldogs. The Raiders just can't catch a break and have now endured six losses in a row.

Iroquois saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Christian Chavez, who went 1-for-2 with one double.

Iroquois' defeat dropped their record down to 1-11. As for Burgin, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-12.

Coming up, Iroquois will square off against Waggener at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Burgin, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 15-0 win against Danville Christian Academy on the 9th.
