Softball Preview: Thunder Ridge Titans vs. Rigby Trojans
For the first time this season, Thunder Ridge will have a chance to prove themselves in a conference matchup. They are taking a road trip to take on the Rigby Trojans at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Thunder Ridge is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.1 runs per game this season.
Thunder Ridge is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Idaho's top teams: Pocatello, who was ranked fifth at the time (Thunder Ridge was ranked third). Thunder Ridge got a great performance from Carly Jones as she struck out ten batters over five innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits (and not a single walk).
