Volleyball Recap: Cisne Snags 11th Victory in Last 12 Games

There's no place like home for Cisne, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They came out on top against the Hutsonville/Palestine Tigers by a score of 2-0 on Saturday. This was payback for the Runnin' Lions, who suffered a 2-1 loss the last time these two teams met.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Cisne took both sets by at least 11 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-8.

Cisne has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-6 record this season. As for Hutsonville/Palestine, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-20.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matches. Cisne will head out to challenge Carmi-White County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Hutsonville/Palestine, they will challenge Martinsville at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
